Mark Johnson is the Associate Counsel for Webb Creek and joined the team in August of 2018. Mark earned his J.D. from Florida State University (’18) and a B.A. in History at Stetson University (’15). While at Stetson, he was a founding member and vice president of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and is now actively involved on the Board of Trustees for the chapter. Mark was admitted to the Florida Bar in September of 2018.
During his final two years of law school, Mark was employed as a Clerk for the Law Office of M.B. Adelson IV, who specialized in boundary law, water law and general property law. Also, while in law school, Mark worked at the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings and in the General Counsel’s Office of the Florida Department of Financial Services. As his capstone project, Mark wrote a paper that clarified the ownership status of properly alienated sovereignty submerged land in Florida.
Mark is engaged to Emily Nolen and together they have rescued two dogs: a Jack Russell named Riley and a Bloodhound named Rhett.
